The SSRP Institute is a medical education organization committed to training doctors and healthcare providers in Cellular Medicine. As the field of small molecules like clinical peptides, GLP-1s, and bio-identical hormones explodes in popularity, safety in patient care and proper education are more critical than ever. Led by Dr. William Seeds, the SSRP Institute is a group of board-certified practicing physicians that distill the latest research and clinical results into the most comprehensive curriculum on Cellular Medicine available.

Customer Analytics: We identified the SSRP’s highest-intent and highest-value customers based on purchase history and lifetime value, using those customers to identify similar audiences via Google and Facebook.

Goal

The SSRP Institute engaged Scalable Marketing in early 2024. Since being founded in 2020, the SSRP Institute had seen impressive organic growth within the healthcare community and looked to accelerate that growth with dedicated marketing support.

The SSRP’s goal was to grow attendance at their quarterly events and increase revenue from key assets such as their membership program and their digital courses. Scalable was tasked with growing attendance at their summer, fall, and winter trainings as well as reaching new providers to increase membership and course sales.

Our Approach

Customer Analytics

We started by understanding who the SSRP Institute’s most valuable customers were, identifying that a large part of the SSRP’s customer base was made up of doctors and healthcare providers who owned their own clinics, telemedicine providers, and providers specializing in therapies such as GLP-1s and bio-identical hormone replacement. We used these findings and the SSRP’s highest lifetime value and highest frequency customers to target similar providers via Google and Facebook for the SSRP’s upcoming training events.

Data-Driven Performance Campaigns

We then performed a full audit of the SSRP’s ad accounts and website conversion tracking and found that their existing ad campaigns were simply driving website clicks without measuring for successful actions on-site. We set up new conversion tracking to measure started and completed event registrations and launched performance advertising campaigns on both Google and Facebook to promote the SSRP Institute’s summer conference and fall training event. By targeting both ad campaigns to audiences most similar to the SSRP’s highest value customers and optimizing those campaigns for completed registrations, we generated over $1.13 million in event revenue with a return-on-ad-spend of over 800% at scale.

Conversion Rate Optimization

Quickly after launching ad campaigns for the upcoming events, we worked with the SSRP Institute to optimize their event landing pages and registration pages for conversion. We performed complete page redesigns, wrote new copy that better positioned the event and the SSRP Institute to its target audience, added testimonials from past attendees, and streamlined the user experience during event registration. These changes led to an immediate 270% increase in registration starts and a 60% increase in registration completes, allowing for aggressive and hyper-profitable expansion of the ad campaigns.

After tripling the number of sales for virtual attendance to the summer conference year-over-year, we worked with the SSRP to launch a digital version of their fall training assuming a similarly positive impact. We sold through the SSRP’s live training target for their fall event and went on to sell an additional 60% or registrations via the digital offering. We’ve continued to generate over $40k of new revenue each month from digital course sales at anywhere from 500% - 800% return on ad spend and are working with the SSRP Institute to continue to expand their digital courses offered.

Summary

This year alone, the SSRP Institute has generated over $1 million in new profit working with Scalable to promote their live events, digital trainings, and membership program. We are continuing to rapidly scale their footprint in the medical education space with a complete site redesign, enhanced membership benefits, additional live and digital training offerings, and marketing infrastructure that enables a small team of 6 to achieve outsized results.
